The silhouette from the exterior evokes the bow of a ship advancing up the hillside toward the Pacific: the roof plane breaks its line, tilts, and crowns the composition with a circular opening that pierces the board-formed concrete. Viewed from the terrace, this aperture frames the sky. The plan is structured in independent wings, all oriented toward the coast. At each level, a terrace captures the landscape uninterrupted — the railings are glass to avoid mediating between the space and the horizon. The circular perforations in the interior wall are not mere ornament: they filter northern light and create visual continuity between the hallway and the living room. At the center of the floor plan, a bamboo courtyard with stone and water brings intimate scale to the heart of the house. The same boulder that anchors the exterior walls reappears as a fireplace in the living room. All materials dialogue with one another; nothing is superfluous.
