Two pieces in radical dialogue. The first: a raw concrete structure with diagonal beams that cross and rise above the entrance — a sculptural portal that does not seek discretion, but presence. The shadows it casts on the concrete pavement are part of the design. The second: a horizontal glass pavilion that extends along the garden with precision and silence. The tension between both defines the project. The portal is gesture, movement, angle. The pavilion is stillness, transparency, horizon. Together, they create an entry sequence that transitions from the expressive to the contemplative. Internior, the box of the vertical core — staircase, services, structure — is resolved in exposed concrete from floor to ceiling, with a skylight that introduces light into the only enclosed space in the house. The rest is glass and light.
